Like many African artists, Ash is self-taught. He has been painting full time since leaving his job as a Research Assistant the 90s. His abstract and unique works flow with passionate colors and spirituality.
Ash's works have great simplicity but they are the sort of paintings one never gets tired of because one always finds something new in them.
In the year 2000 one of his paintings was selected for The Millennium Art Collection and it is now on display in The Hague, Netherlands.
